The G-tower building is a 30 storey office-retail-hotel development build in kuala lumpur in malaysia. They managed to achieve the gold award for the amount of energy they save.
The feature that impresses us the most:
-
A ventilation system that channels more oxygen into different parts of the building when the level of carbon dioxide in the air risesWHY?By just making use of this system, lots of energy could be save. Basically, by changing carbon dioxide to oxygen, it cools the air, which would save much more instead of having fans or air-conditioner, as the climate is quite warm. So by that, the cost that makes people comfortable is much lesser.
